Acclaimed filmmaker BRIAN DE PALMA was forced to cancel a master class he was to teach after undergoing emergency dental surgery.
The Carrie director was scheduled to appear at the World Film Festival in Montreal, Canada (21Aug-01Sep08) and share his insights on his craft.
But the 67-year-old pulled out at the last minute after undergoing "killer dental surgery", according to New York gossip column PageSix.
